Large senior dog resting comfortably in the Steadavo Atlas mobility stroller outdoors

Choosing Atlas

What is Steadavo Atlas designed for?

Atlas is a large-dog mobility system intended for dogs who still benefit from outdoor time but may not comfortably walk the entire route.

It can provide a supported place to rest during neighborhood walks, paved park visits, vehicle days and slower family outings.

Atlas is not a medical device, dog wheelchair or substitute for veterinary treatment.

Atlas at a Glance

Atlas is a substantial mobility product designed for large and senior dogs. Before ordering, consider more than your dog’s weight. Check body measurements, resting posture, entry ability, your own handling strength, usual routes, vehicle space and storage conditions.

This FAQ provides a practical summary. Product specifications and policies shown on the product page, at checkout and at the time of purchase apply to each order.

Is Atlas only for senior dogs?

No.

Atlas may also be useful for large dogs who tire easily, need planned rest during longer outings or are following a veterinarian-approved recovery routine.

Age alone does not determine whether a stroller is appropriate. Current mobility, balance, stamina, body size and entry ability matter more.

What is the maximum weight Atlas can carry?

The maximum load capacity is:

88.2 lb / 40 kg

Do not exceed this limit.

Weight capacity is a structural limit. It does not guarantee that every dog under 88.2 lb will fit comfortably inside the cabin.

A long, tall or broad dog may need more space than a heavier dog with a compact body shape.

Can Steadavo review my dog’s measurements?

Yes.

For a useful pre-purchase review, send:

  • Current weight and body measurements
  • A clear side-standing photo
  • A photo showing the dog’s normal resting position
  • The surfaces you expect to use
  • Any concern about entry or lifting
  • Your vehicle cargo measurements

Remote guidance can identify obvious concerns, but it cannot provide an absolute fit guarantee.

What if my dog is close to the weight or size limit?

Do not order based on the weight limit alone.

A close measurement result leaves less room for natural movement, coat thickness, measurement variation and changes in resting position.

Contact support before ordering when any measurement is close to the published limit.

Why does Atlas cost $699?

Atlas is currently priced at $699. It is designed and supported as a large-dog mobility system rather than a basic small-dog carrier.

Its published specifications include an 88.2 lb / 40 kg maximum load, a large-format folding frame, a covered cabin, a wheel and brake system, safety tethers, fit guidance and a one-year limited warranty. The price also reflects the planning and support involved in fitting a large or senior dog, loading Atlas into a vehicle and resolving eligible product issues.

Atlas is not the best value for every household. A lightweight carrier for a small dog may cost less. Atlas is intended for families who need its published capacity, space and large-dog routine.

Fit & Size

What are the Atlas cabin dimensions?

The currently published cabin exterior measurements are:

  • Length: 29.1 in
  • Width: 19.7 in
  • Height: 15.4 in
  • Front width: 21.7 in

These are exterior reference measurements, not confirmed usable interior clearance. Fabric, frame sections, canopy shape and the dog’s resting posture can reduce the space available inside.

Do not treat these measurements as a guaranteed fit. When the result appears close, contact Steadavo before ordering.

How should I measure my dog?

Prepare the following current measurements:

  • Weight
  • Body length from the front of the chest to the base of the tail
  • Widest relaxed body width
  • Height from the floor to the shoulder blades
  • Normal sitting or resting position
  • Ability to step over the entry
  • Amount of assistance currently required

Measure on a level surface and measure twice.

Do not shorten the dog’s body measurement to make it appear compatible with the cabin.

Can I choose Atlas based on breed alone?

No.

Dogs of the same breed can have substantially different body length, chest width, sitting height, coat volume and resting posture.

Breed guides are useful starting points, but they do not guarantee fit.

The dog’s current measurements and natural resting position should always take priority.

Can more than one dog ride in Atlas?

Possibly, but only when:

  • Their combined weight remains below 88.2 lb
  • Both dogs have enough room to settle without crowding
  • Neither dog blocks the other dog’s movement or airflow
  • Their temperaments are compatible in an enclosed space
  • The available restraint points can be used safely

Combined weight alone does not confirm that multiple dogs will fit.

Use & Safety

Does Atlas include a ramp?

No. A ramp is not currently included with Atlas.

Before ordering, confirm that your dog can step into the cabin calmly or that you can provide safe, repeatable assistance.

Do not assume that lifting a large dog will be manageable on every outing.

What should I do if my dog is nervous around the stroller?

Introduce Atlas gradually:

  • Place it on a level surface.
  • Engage the brake.
  • Allow the dog to inspect it while stationary.
  • Add a familiar mat only when it does not interfere with closing or ventilation.
  • Practice entering and leaving before moving.
  • Begin with a very short, slow outing.
  • Increase time only when the dog remains calm.

Do not force a fearful dog into the cabin.

How should my dog be secured inside Atlas?

Atlas includes interior safety tethers.

Attach them only to a properly fitted harness or restraint suitable for the dog. Do not attach a short safety tether directly to a collar when sudden movement could place pressure on the neck.

Adjust the tether so the dog can change position but cannot jump out, reach a wheel or shift excessive weight outside the cabin.

Can my dog ride with the canopy open?

Only when the dog remains calm and securely restrained.

Close the cabin when there is a risk from:

  • Traffic
  • Crowds
  • Other animals
  • Sudden noises
  • Uneven surfaces
  • Jumping or leaning
  • Unexpected weather

The canopy and mesh panels do not replace active supervision.

Can I leave my dog unattended in Atlas?

No.

Do not leave a dog unattended, even when the brake is engaged.

The dog may shift its weight, become distressed, overheat or react to people, animals, traffic or changing weather.

Can Atlas be used after surgery?

Only with approval from the dog’s veterinarian.

Different procedures require different restrictions on walking, turning, sitting, lying down and entry assistance.

Atlas does not determine whether a particular activity is medically appropriate.

What surfaces is Atlas intended for?

Atlas is best suited to:

  • Sidewalks
  • Paved park paths
  • Smooth neighborhood routes
  • Firm, level outdoor surfaces
  • Parking areas used carefully at walking speed

Handler strength, dog weight, slope, weather and surface condition all affect control.

Can Atlas be used on grass or gravel?

Short sections of firm grass or compacted fine gravel may be manageable when the surface is level.

Avoid:

  • Deep gravel
  • Large loose stones
  • Mud
  • Holes
  • Exposed roots
  • Very uneven ground
  • Steep or uncontrolled slopes

Atlas should not be treated as suitable for every surface merely because it has outdoor-use wheels.

Is Atlas a jogging stroller?

No.

Atlas is intended for controlled walking speeds. It is not currently marketed or tested as a high-speed jogging stroller.

Do not run with Atlas.

Can Atlas be used on hills?

Avoid steep or extended slopes.

The brake helps hold the stroller during controlled stops, but it does not replace the handler’s grip and does not make an unsafe incline suitable.

Never leave Atlas parked on a slope with a dog inside.

Can I use Atlas on stairs or escalators?

No.

Do not move Atlas on stairs or escalators with a dog inside. Use an elevator or accessible ramp.

Do not lift a loaded stroller over an obstacle unless the product instructions specifically permit it and sufficient assistance is available.

Folding & Vehicle

What are the folded dimensions?

Atlas folds to approximately:

33.9 L × 25.2 W × 12.6 H in

The folded footprint remains relatively large because its length and width do not substantially reduce.

Measure the actual cargo opening, not only the interior cargo volume.

Will Atlas fit in my vehicle?

Vehicle compatibility cannot be guaranteed by make or model alone.

Before ordering, measure:

  • Cargo-opening width
  • Cargo-opening height
  • Usable floor depth
  • Loading-lip height
  • Space remaining when seats are in their normal position
  • Clearance needed to angle the stroller during loading

Compare these measurements with the folded dimensions and allow extra handling clearance.

How much does Atlas weigh?

Atlas weighs approximately:

24.3 lb / 11 kg

Consider whether the person using Atlas can repeatedly lift, rotate and load a 24.3 lb folded product into the intended vehicle.

The product weight does not include the dog.

Does Atlas require assembly?

Some setup may be required after delivery.

Before placing a dog inside:

  • Confirm that the frame is fully locked
  • Check that all wheels are correctly installed
  • Test the brake
  • Check the folding and locking mechanisms
  • Confirm that safety tethers are secured
  • Inspect the fabric and frame for shipping damage

Test the stroller while empty first.

Shipping & Delivery

Where does Atlas ship from?

Atlas currently ships from Mainland China.

Steadavo does not currently operate a public U.S. retail showroom or permanent public return counter.

How is Atlas shipped?

Atlas generally travels to the United States by ocean freight because of its size. Smaller products and replacement parts may travel by air or courier.

For eligible Atlas destinations confirmed by Steadavo before payment, Steadavo handles import customs clearance and pays the applicable import duties. Atlas is delivered door to door to the confirmed residential address. Inside placement, stair carry, room-of-choice delivery, unpacking and assembly are excluded unless the written carrier service expressly includes them.

4PX and destination last-mile carriers may handle portions of the route. Use the carrier and tracking details issued for the order rather than an old carrier name, route or fee. The current Shipping Policy, checkout terms and order confirmation control.

How long does Atlas delivery take?

The current published estimate is:

  • Preparation: 2–4 business days
  • Transit: 8–20 business days
  • Estimated total: 10–24 business days

These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Customs processing, port conditions, weather, carrier delays, holidays and remote delivery areas may add time.

Is shipping free in the United States?

Eligible orders to the contiguous 48 United States currently qualify for free standard shipping.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and remote destinations require address confirmation and a destination-specific live final-mile quote. Any additional amount must be disclosed to and accepted by the customer before payment.

The shipping amount and terms shown at checkout and in the order confirmation apply to the order.

Are customs duties and taxes included?

For eligible Atlas destinations confirmed by Steadavo before payment, Atlas is delivered duty paid (DDP): Steadavo handles import customs clearance and pays the applicable import duties.

This does not automatically extend to another product, country or unconfirmed destination. The duty and tax treatment shown at checkout and in the written order confirmation applies. Contact Steadavo before payment when the treatment is unclear.

What about Canada and other destinations?

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, remote destinations and destinations outside the eligible contiguous 48-state program require address confirmation and a current destination-specific quote before ordering.

Canada and other destinations do not automatically receive the same shipping price, method, delivery timing or import treatment as an eligible contiguous United States order. Review and accept the written terms before payment.

How do I track my order?

Tracking information is provided after the order has been prepared and carrier information becomes available.

Ocean-freight tracking may not update in the same way as an express parcel. Some tracking events may appear only after the shipment reaches a later stage.

Contact support with the order number when tracking remains unclear.

What should I do if the package arrives damaged?

Before assembly or use:

  • Photograph all sides of the carton.
  • Photograph the shipping label.
  • Photograph any holes, crushing or water damage.
  • Photograph the internal packaging.
  • Photograph the affected product area.
  • Keep all packaging and components.
  • Contact Steadavo promptly.

Do not discard packaging or perform permanent repairs before receiving instructions.

Returns & Product Issues

Does Steadavo offer 30-day returns?

Steadavo provides a 30-Day Product Issue Reporting Window for eligible product problems reported within 30 calendar days after confirmed delivery. It is not a 30-day home trial or general change-of-mind return period.

Separate rules apply to cancellation and buyer-requested returns. An order that has not shipped may be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours after it is placed. A buyer-requested return requires written authorization within seven calendar days after confirmed delivery and must meet the unused, pet-free, complete and original-packaging conditions in the current Return Policy.

What qualifies as an eligible product issue?

An eligible issue may include:

  • A verified manufacturing defect
  • Significant shipping damage
  • Receipt of the wrong product
  • Missing essential components
  • A product fault that prevents normal intended use

Steadavo may request photos, video, measurements or additional information before confirming eligibility.

What does not qualify for return?

The buyer-requested return path does not apply after seven calendar days, after use or outdoor assembly, after pet contact, or when the product has hair, odor, dirt, mud, stains, outdoor wheel wear, chewing, claw damage, unrelated accidental damage, missing packaging or components, or an unauthorized modification. An unapproved shipment also does not automatically qualify for a refund.

The 30-day product-issue path is separate. A timely reported and verified manufacturing defect, significant shipping damage, wrong product, missing essential component or qualifying product fault is reviewed under the product-issue rules rather than rejected as a buyer-requested return.

What condition must the product be in?

For an approved buyer-requested return, the product must be unused, free of dog contact, hair, odor, stains, dirt and outdoor wheel wear, complete and in its original packaging with the manuals, labels, tools, accessories and included components.

For a reported product issue, keep the product as clean, complete and suitable for inspection as circumstances reasonably allow. Stop using it if continued use could worsen the issue, and do not modify, repair or ship it before receiving written instructions.

Does every product issue require a full return?

No.

Depending on the issue, Steadavo may provide:

  • Troubleshooting
  • A replacement component
  • Repair guidance
  • A partial assembly replacement
  • A complete product replacement
  • An authorized return and refund

A full-product return may not be necessary when a verified problem can be resolved safely with a replacement part.

How do I request a return?

Contact Steadavo before shipping anything.

Provide:

  • Order number
  • Checkout email address
  • Full-product photos
  • Close-up photos or video of the issue
  • Description of when the issue appeared
  • Dog’s approximate weight
  • Surface and conditions during use
  • Confirmation that original packaging is available

Wait for written approval and return instructions.

Where should I send a return?

Do not send a product to the original shipping address or an address found online.

Steadavo will provide the applicable return route and address after reviewing the order and issue.

Returns sent without authorization may be rejected or may not qualify for reimbursement.

Who pays return shipping?

For a verified covered product issue, Steadavo arranges or covers the approved return or replacement transportation. Unauthorized shipping costs are not automatically reimbursed.

For an approved buyer-requested return, the customer pays the approved trackable return method. Any shipping amount actually paid at checkout is non-refundable; when checkout included free shipping, no undisclosed outbound-shipping charge is deducted. No restocking fee applies.

When is a refund issued?

Steadavo inspects an authorized return within three business days after receiving it. If the return is approved, Steadavo initiates the refund to the original payment method within two business days.

PayPal or the issuing institution controls any additional posting time. A refund is not issued for an unauthorized return or before the required review and approval are complete.

Warranty & Parts

How long is the Atlas warranty?

Atlas includes a:

One-Year Limited Warranty

The warranty begins on the confirmed delivery date, not the order date or shipping date.

Proof of purchase is required.

What does the one-year warranty cover?

The warranty covers verified defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal, intended residential use.

Covered structural or mechanical components may include:

  • Main frame
  • Structural frame joints
  • Folding and locking mechanisms
  • Axles
  • Wheel mounting components
  • Brake mechanism
  • Fixed safety-tether attachment hardware

Wheel or axle failures may be covered when Steadavo confirms that the issue resulted from a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear, impact or unsuitable terrain.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage
  • Misuse or neglect
  • Loads above 88.2 lb
  • Improper assembly
  • Unauthorized repair or modification
  • Commercial or rental use
  • Damage caused by stairs, deep sand, rough trails or unsuitable surfaces
  • Water, salt, chemicals, mold or improper storage
  • Damage caused by a pet, including chewing, clawing or scratching
  • Cosmetic scratches, fading or discoloration
  • Loss or theft
Are fabric, liners and zippers covered?

Soft goods and consumable components are not covered by the one-year limited warranty.

These include, as applicable:

  • Removable liner or pad
  • Cushioning
  • Fabric panels
  • Mesh panels
  • Canopy fabric
  • Storage pockets
  • Zippers
  • Hook-and-loop fasteners
  • Cosmetic trim

A manufacturing problem visible when the product arrives should be reported within the 30-day product-issue reporting window and before continued use.

Normal dirt, staining, pet hair, odor, fading, tearing, chewing and claw damage are not manufacturing defects.

Are wheels covered?

The wheel assembly may be covered when a verified manufacturing defect affects the wheel hub, mounting point, axle connection or normal operation.

The following are not covered:

  • Normal tire or tread wear
  • Damage from stones, curbs or impacts
  • Sand or debris inside moving parts
  • Corrosion caused by salt or water
  • Damage from unsuitable terrain
  • Damage caused by overloading
  • Wheels damaged after continued use with a known fault
How do I make a warranty claim?

Stop using Atlas when continued use could worsen the problem or create a safety risk.

Send Steadavo:

  • Order number
  • Product name
  • Full-product photo
  • Close-up photos or video
  • Description of the issue
  • Date it was first noticed
  • Dog’s approximate weight
  • Typical surfaces
  • Assembly and maintenance details

Do not return, modify or dispose of the product before receiving instructions.

How will an approved warranty claim be resolved?

The available resolution depends on the verified issue, product condition, parts availability and shipping destination. Steadavo may provide troubleshooting, an approved replacement part, repair instructions, replacement of an affected assembly, product replacement or another appropriate remedy.

For a confirmed covered defect, Steadavo arranges and pays the approved shipping method for covered parts, returns or replacements. Unauthorized shipping, repair or modification costs are not reimbursed. Costs tied to normal wear, misuse, accidental damage, overloading or another excluded cause remain the customer’s responsibility.

Are replacement parts available outside warranty?

Selected replacement parts may be available depending on:

  • Atlas version
  • Required component
  • Inventory
  • Destination
  • Whether the issue is covered by warranty

Replacement parts for normal wear, accidental damage or excluded issues are paid by the customer.

Contact support with photos before ordering a part so the correct version can be identified.

Care & Maintenance

Can Atlas be used on beach sand?

Atlas is not intended for regular use in deep or loose sand.

Sand increases pushing resistance and can enter wheels, axles and folding components. Saltwater and salt residue can also accelerate corrosion and wear.

Use firm access paths where available.

How should I clean Atlas?

Remove loose hair and dirt after use.

The removable liner or pad should be cleaned according to its care instructions. Wipe appropriate frame and contact surfaces with a damp cloth and allow all components to dry fully before folding or storage.

Do not use aggressive chemicals, pressure washing or machine washing unless specifically permitted by the product instructions.

How should Atlas be stored?

Store Atlas clean and dry in a ventilated indoor space.

Do not store it while wet or covered in mud, sand or salt residue.

Periodically inspect:

  • Wheels and axles
  • Brake
  • Folding locks
  • Frame joints
  • Tether attachment points
  • Fabric and mesh
  • Zippers

General Questions

Does Steadavo have U.S.-based customer service?

Steadavo provides remote online support rather than a public U.S.-based customer-service center.

For product, fit, order, shipping, product-issue, return or warranty help, email [email protected]. Support hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00–18:00 Pacific Time, excluding U.S. federal holidays observed in the selected U.S. time zone.

During support hours, Steadavo aims to reply within two hours. Messages received outside those hours receive a response by the next business day. These are response targets, not guaranteed resolution times.

Still Not Sure?

Measure the dog. Measure the vehicle. Plan the entry routine.

Atlas should fit more than the dog. It should also fit the handler, the usual route, the vehicle, the storage space and the family’s expectations after purchase.
